Cleaning for a Reason is a nationwide nonprofit program offering free professional house cleaning services for cancer patients. Every year, Heather’s Home Works has the opportunity to help 16 amazing and strong women as they fight for their lives. Although what we do is only a small contribution, we love seeing the smiles on these women’s faces when they realize they can focus on their health and recovery instead of on their housework.
How Can One Qualify for This Program?
Visit the website of Cleaning for a Reason and apply as a patient, and they will do the rest. Any woman, man, or child in active cancer treatment is eligible for our services. You may fill out the application for yourself or on behalf of someone you know undergoing cancer treatment who needs our services.
Once matched with a cleaning company, a patient will receive up to 3 free home cleaning (one cleaning per month). Heather’s Home Works in Dagsboro, DE, offers reduced rates for patients that continue with recurring service.
